Dr. Brian Ember 

CEO

Dr. Brian Ember has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of AgPlenus Ltd. In December 2021. Dr. Ember brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the ag-chemicals industry, holding various senior leadership roles, including Head of Global Portfolio Management and Head of Marketing and Business Development, Americas for Biotalys, an agricultural technology company focused on reinventing food protection with protein-based biocontrol solutions; Senior Director, Business Development for AgriMetis, an innovative crop protection company; and various management roles at BASF and Syngenta.

Dr. Ember holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL; a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA; and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC.

Dr. Merav Beiman

Dr. Merav Beiman serves as the VP of research and development of AgPlenus. Dr. Beiman has been leading R&D teams in start-ups (Biotech and FoodTech) and Biopharmaceutical companies for 23 years.

Prior to joining AgPlenus, Dr. Beiman served as the CEO of ImmPACT-Bio, leading the CAR-T start-up company from its inception to its next stage and Series A round.  Previously, Dr. Beiman held various senior managerial roles at R&Ds departments at Ferring, Compugen and QBI.

Dr. Beiman holds a BSc and MSc in life sciences from Tel-Aviv University and a PhD. in Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Mirit Ram serves as the VP Portfolio Management of AgPlenus. Prior to AgPlenus Ms. Ram was the projects manager of the AgChemical devision of Evogene, responsible for advancement in internal and collaborations pipelines. Prior to that Ms. Ram served in several key positions in FMC, including global project manager and senior formulation chemist. Ms. Ram holds an M.Sc. from the Technion ,the Israeli Institute of Technology
