Douglas A. Eisner
Mr. Douglas A. Eisner has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of AgPlenus Ltd. In 2020. Mr. Eisner brings over 20 years of versatile business and legal experience to AgPlenus. Mr. Eisner previously held various senior leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer of AgroSpheres, Inc., a crop protection company, from 2018 to 2020, and co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of GrassRoots Biotechnology, Inc., an agricultural biotechnology company, from 2007 to 2013. In these positions, Mr. Eisner led successful fundraising rounds and co-led the acquisition of GrassRoots Biotechnology by the Monsanto Company. Mr. Eisner began his career as an attorney, first as prosecutor in the New York County District Attorney’s Office and then as a commercial litigator.
Mr. Eisner holds an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and a JD from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Eisner is located in Durham, North Carolina, USA.
Dr. Boaz Inbal
Boaz Inbal is the VP of research and development of AgPlenus. Prior to AgPlenus Dr. Inbal was the director of R&D for Evogene, leading the Agro-Chemical R&D division. Prior to that Dr. Inbal was the CSO of Promining Therapeutics. Prior to that, Dr. Inbal took part of the R&D effort, as group leader and associate director in Epix pharmaceuticals . Dr. Inbal has served as advisor in the field of drug design and worked on multiple projects with several companies and institutes in Israel.Dr. Inbal holds a PhD. in Biochemistry, Molecular biology & Bioinformatics from the Weizman
Mirit Ram is the Director of projects of AgPlenus. Prior to AgPlenus Ms. Ram was the projects manager of the AgChemical devision of Evogene, responsible for advancement in internal and collaborations pipelines. Prior to that Ms. Ram served in several key positions in FMC, including global project manager and senior formulation chemist. Ms. Ram holds an M.Sc. from the Technion ,the Israeli Institute of Technology
