Dr. Brian Ember CEO
Dr. Brian Ember has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of AgPlenus Ltd. In December 2021. Brian brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the ag-chemicals industry, holding various senior leadership roles, including Head of Global Portfolio Management and Head of Marketing and Business Development, Americas for Biotalys, Senior Director, Business Development for AgriMetis, and various management roles at BASF and Syngenta.
Brian holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA; and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC.
Dr Merav Beiman VP R&D
Having joined AgPlenus in 2022 as the Vice President of Research and Development, Dr. Merav Beiman brings with her over 23 years of experience in leading R&D teams across start-ups in Biotech and FoodTechas well as biopharmaceutical companies.
Prior to joining AgPlenus, Merav served as the CEO of ImmPACT-Bio, where she successfully led a CAR-T start-up company from its inception to its next stage and Series A round.
Previously Merav held various senior managerial roles in R&D departments at Ferring, Compugen, and QBI.
Merav holds a PhD. in Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Mirit Ram VP of Portfolio Managment
Mirit Ram is the Vice President of Portfolio Management at AgPlenus, where she has been since 2018. With over 11 years of experience in the agriculture industry. Mirit is a seasoned professional with a strong background in project management. Before joining AgPlenus, Mirit served as Project Management Director at Evogene, responsible for advancement in internal and collaborations pipelines and as a global project manager and senior formulation chemist in the Innovation Center at FMC. She holds both a BSc and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology.
